Hélène
Salvadori
Was born in France to a Venetian father and a French mother.
She grew up in Venice in a family of art historians and thus
developed a deep interest and intimate knowledge of her town.
She spent a year studying at Warwick University in England
and after finishing her degree in history at Ca’ Foscari
in Venice she worked at the French Consulate and as a tour
leader and interpreter. Seven years ago she specialized in
wedding organization with major travel agencies, thus developing
excellent working relations with Venice institutions and vendors.
In 2000 she obtained her licence to be an official guide of
the city (see www.aguideinvenice.com)
Her passions are travelling, cooking, contemporary dance and
above all yoga. She often spends the winter months in India
practising this ancient Hindu discipline. She is fluent in
French and English. |
Anna Bozza
Was born in Padua, and has lived in Venice since 1994. With
a school-leaving certificate in foreign languages and a degree
in Art History she worked for important art galleries in Venice,
then seven years ago she switched to the tourist industry.
She has been working for the last five years for a US-based
company renting vacation properties in Venice, thus acquiring
invaluable experience concerning customer care services aimed
at an American and European clientele. Also working as a property
manager for several apartment owners, she has developed a
problem-solving attitude which came in useful when she organized
her own wedding last year, where she could use her creative
skills as well as her organizational ones. A lover of anything
and everything beautiful, she enjoys reading, photography,
music and recently developed a passion for flower design.
She is fluent in English and French. |
Giovanna Wurmbrand Stuppach
Was born in Cortina d'Ampezzo to an Austrian father and Italian
mother. She has been living in Venice from the age of 12.
She studied languages at the University of Ca' Foscari and
spent a few years sailing in the Caribbean. Back in Europe,
she became a journalist and in the late eighties started working
for the most important Italian auction house where she was
in charge of the press office and foreign customer relations,
as well as website manager. Working with the auction house
also meant extensive travelling and interacting with antique
dealers and collectors from all over the world, an activity
in which her upbringing among antique family heirlooms proved
extremely useful.
She is fond of travelling, reading and, like Hélène,
loves practising yoga. She is currently attending a school
to become a yoga teacher. With Anna she shares her love for
flower design. She is fluent in French and English, and she
can also speak fairly good Spanish. |
