One needs no excuses to spend a few days in Venice, but the exhibition on Japanese photography at Palazzo Franchetti is one more reason for a romantic weekend here.
The exhibition, PHOTOGRAPHY IN JAPAN (1860 – 1910), shows for the first time in Italy a group of 150 original prints, made by great Japanese and European photographers from 1860 until the early twentieth century.
