Giovanna Wurmbrand Stuppach

Born in Cortina d’Ampezzo to an Austrian father and an Italian mother, Giovanna Wurmbrand Stuppach grew up between Venice, Cortina and Tuscany. From an early age, this international background gave her a natural ability to connect with people from different cultures and traditions.

In 1989, she began her professional career in the press office of a leading auction house, where she was responsible for communications and relationships with an international clientele. It was there that she developed a professional approach based on understanding different expectations, cultural backgrounds and individual sensitivities.

In 1993, she was admitted to the Register of Publicists, consolidating a set of skills that still defines the way she works today: observing carefully, listening closely, communicating clearly and paying attention to every detail.

In 2005, Giovanna founded The Venice Wedding Planner, choosing to specialise in destination weddings in Venice and the Dolomites. For over twenty years, she has guided couples from around the world through the creation of personal celebrations, drawing on her deep knowledge of both destinations, an established network of carefully selected wedding professionals and attentive organisation throughout every stage of the planning process.

For Giovanna, planning a wedding begins with understanding the people imagining it. Every couple has their own story, style and expectations. These become the starting point for a celebration that reflects their personality and what they truly want to experience.
