Over more than twenty years with The Venice Wedding Planner, I have had the privilege of helping many couples bring their wedding plans to life.
Couples from different countries and of all ages; couples marrying for the first or second time; couples choosing a civil, religious or symbolic ceremony. Each of them has brought a unique story into my life and my work.
In September 2025, fifteen years had passed since Veronica and Marco celebrated their wedding in Venice. Time has flown, but I still remember that day and the moments we shared with remarkable clarity.
A wedding reception at San Clemente Palace
I remember my first meeting with Veronica to discuss the wedding. We understood each other immediately.
The day itself had the soft grey light that sometimes makes the Venetian Lagoon appear even more atmospheric. Together with Veronica, we chose a delicate colour palette for the flowers, brought to life with great care and professionalism by Munaretto.
The wedding reception took place at San Clemente Palace, surrounded by the natural beauty of San Clemente Island and the Lagoon. The greenery, water and distinctive island setting became part of the celebration.
A waltz in St Mark’s Square
One of the moments I remember most came later, in St Mark’s Square.
As a few drops of rain began to fall, Veronica and Marco danced a waltz accompanied by the music of the Caffè Florian orchestra. It was an intimate and spontaneous moment, with Venice providing the perfect backdrop.
Every couple has their own story, and some remain forever in the heart of those who, like me, have had the honour of accompanying them on such an important day.
We had already celebrated their tenth anniversary together in 2020. Five years later, I was delighted to remember their wedding once again and the affection that has continued over time.
